CLASSIC MEMBERSHIP
The seven uses per month Classic Membership is our most popular level. Sailors love it because it offers the most flexible and affordable “full time” sailing option on the water. The Classic Membership provides more sailing time than any other club or charter offering in the world! Not only do you have plenty of time allotted to you each month, you can bank time to string together a multi-day cruise. Classic Members can also jump on their boat with short notice using our “as available” 36-hour rule, which waives the usage rules when you reserve your boating time within 36 hours of your departure time.

LITE MEMBERSHIP
The three uses per month Lite Membership is perfect for the boater who doesn’t have much time. Kids soccer games, golf, and work can take over your weekends, making it hard to do what’s important: boating! We also find this level to be a good way for someone to start in the program who isn’t sure how much time they are able to devote. Lite Members are allocated three uses every month, then have the ability to buy additional time within 24 hours of a time slot.
PREMIER MEMBERSHIP
The 14 uses per month Premier Membership provides each member with 14 guaranteed reservations (boating times) per month. Members can book their times as 14 individual outings or consecutively for up to a full week (seven days) out on the water. Premier Members are eligible for complimentary standby reservations, which allow them to reserve their boat at no additional cost when booked less than 36 hours before departure. A Premier Membership guarantees a full weekend every month and is ideal for the boater who may not live close to the harbor and would like a longer stay on their yacht.

As a SailTime/PowerTime Member or Owner, you have the option to enjoy access to any of our nearly 35 locations around the world. Only a few highly qualified members (typically a max of 6) use each boat. All members are trained and must to pass a rigorous check out before using the boat without a captain.

What Is The Maximum Number Of Fractional Boaters On A Given Yacht?
Because of our different levels of membership (Lite, Classic, and Premier), our boats have a variable maximum of members. Every member has a guaranteed amount of time though, and we never oversell the time on a boat. The usual maximum is six users.

Will My Costs Go Up If There Are Fewer Members On The Boat?
No. The SailTime / PowerTime model has been specifically crafted to alleviate this type of pitfall and ensures that Members pay a flat monthly fee only.
How Much Cash Will I Be Required To Pay When I Join the Program?
This depends on the size of the boat. Typically, for a Beneteau 30, there will be a joining fee in the amount of $1500, which is a great value considering the size of the new boat and the other real costs that it takes to launch such a vessel. Other costs may be required, due to local training requirements.
What Is The Length Of The Commitment and Do I Need To Sign A Contract?
We offer a one-year commitment. Yes, we are happy to preview the contract for you.
Am I A Part Owner Of The Yacht When I Join SailTime / PowerTime?
No. Shared ownership of the boat creates many complexities. The yacht is owned by an Owner-Member. If you are interested taking advantage of our Owner Member program, please contact us!
Are There Any Other Maintenance/Upkeep Fees That Will Be Assessed?
No. But if you lose an item or damage the vessel, you will pay for replacement or up to the insurance deductible.
How Do You Schedule The Boating Times?
Our exclusive and proprietary online scheduling software makes it easy. The software allows you to reserve, wait list and swap bookings 24/7 in real-time by selecting a maximum of seven sail times per month and more on an as-available basis. Additionally, you have the ability to borrow time from adjacent months.
How Long Is A Boating Time? Is Friday A Weekday Or Weekend Timeslot?
Every day is broken into two boating times: 10:30 am to 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm overnight to 10:30 am the following day. You can schedule one use at a time or put several together for a multiple-day trip. Friday day is a weekday. Friday night is a weekend evening time.
Can I See The Yacht Ahead Of Time? How Is The Boat Outfitted?
Absolutely! Just call to schedule an appointment. Our boats are fully loaded with luxury appointments and the latest electronics for the appropriate weather and boating conditions.
Can I Stay Overnight On The Yacht?
Yes. Every evening sail time ends at 10:30 am the next morning.
Who Is Responsible For Washing Down The Boat? Who Is Responsible For Re-Fueling And Pump-Out Of The Yacht?
Members wash down the yacht after their use and remove their trash, etc. Members use the online system to easily check on and check off the boat each time they sail. Our staff handles refueling and pumpouts.
Can I Use the Program To Qualify To Captain A Yacht On A Caribbean Vacation?
Yes. The Program will help you gain enough experience so that you can qualify to Captain a boat in a vacation destination.
Can I Become A Member First And Then Upgrade To Become An Owner?
Yes. Many of our Owner-Members start with our program as members. They become familiar with how the program works, how the boats are maintained, and become comfortable with our Base team. When they are ready they take advantage of our terrific Owner-Member program to own their dream boat.
